Coleman uses aluminum micro-channel coils for high efficiency. Unlike copper, these are extremely difficult to braze (weld) once they corrode from NYC's acidic rain or salt air. Repairing a leak often leads to another one nearby. We usually recommend replacing the coil entirely with a factory-coated OEM part to ensure long-term reliability.
